For the Love of Slugs

My first nudibranch encounter happened shortly after I moved to Falmouth, when a friend discovered one whilst rock pooling. In that moment, I absolutely fell in love with all thing’s sea slugs. The only problem? I could not find them for the life of me. For an entire year, I searched without success. Still determined, I made it my mission this year to find and photograph as many sea slugs as possible.

 

More than 45 hours spent searching for the slugs over the span of 22 days. This is not just a gallery of sea slugs. It is a testament to my journey of learning to see what once felt impossible to find.
